The Wired for Greatness short-course is a prequel to our DREAM to DESTINATION course that can be found here.
Delivery
It is created to be completed 1-1 or in small groups.
Audience
It helps provide a stepping stone for those young people who struggle to be able to DREAM big in the first place. Whether it's due to lack of belief, pessimistic attitudes or a lack of self-worth the course looks to address it in an encouraging way.

Course Content

Session One: Redefining greatness
Greatness is all around us and not just in the 1% of ‘famous’ people. Builders, local business owners, nurses, mechanics…all of these and more are total heroes.

Session Two: My World - My View
Our view of the world is affected by our experiences. We all grow up with what we consider to be ‘normal’ but we never question it. This session delves deeper into young people's thinking to work out which things they consider to be 'normal' are helpful and which are needlessly hindering their pathway to securing a better future.

Session Three: The View from Within Me
Self-belief is vital to success yet so often young people lack it. The view from within them is often different to the reality around them. If we can just teach them to increase not only their abilities but also their self-belief then will be able to realise things that they would otherwise think impossible. This session addresses just that.

Session Four: Dealing with Setbacks
We all experience setbacks of course. The thing that young people need to learn above all is that every setback – no matter how big or small – does not need to define them. With the right mind-set and attitude we believe that young people can learn to become more robust and able to deal with the pressures come their way.
